LED Drivers by Application
The same wattage behaves differently in a facade box, a light box extrusion and a track ceiling. Each page below states where the driver actually sits, which series fits, and the failure mode that eats the margin on that kind of project.
Towe supplies LED drivers to four application groups: architectural and facade lighting with IP67 outdoor drivers up to 2000 W, signage and light boxes with 12–200 W ultra-thin drivers for aluminium extrusions, retail magnetic track lighting with 48 V IP65 supplies, and smart home and hotel projects with MESH 2.0 drivers supporting app, voice and scene control. Each group has its own installation constraint, and the series are built around that constraint rather than around wattage alone.
Architectural & Facade Lighting
Fully-potted IP67 LED drivers from 7 W to 2000 W for building facades, bridges and landscape projects, with wide-input protection for unstable Gulf grids.
Requirements and typical installationsSignage & Light Boxes
Slim and light box LED drivers from 12 W to 200 W that hide inside aluminium channels and fabric boxes, plus 2000 W outdoor power for large signage.
Requirements and typical installationsRetail & Track Lighting
Dedicated 48 V magnetic track drivers from 100 W to 300 W with IP65 sealing and flicker-free full-load output for retail, gallery and showroom track systems.
Requirements and typical installationsSmart Home & Hotel Lighting
MESH 2.0 smart LED drivers from 60 W to 400 W pairing with Mi Home, Tmall Genie, Alexa and Siri — wiring-free smart lighting for hotels and residences.
Requirements and typical installationsWhere the driver sits decides the series
Every claim below is a physical constraint, not a preference. If the driver does not fit the space or cannot shed its heat, the warranty never gets used — the project just fails in the first summer.
| Application | Where the driver is installed | Series that fit | Power range | Most common failure |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Architectural & facade | Riser cupboards, facade boxes, roof voids — exposed to heat and rain | TD, TY SiC, TH (IP67) | 7 – 2000 W | Derating to nothing above 40 °C, condensation inside a sealed box |
| Signage & light boxes | Inside a 60–120 mm aluminium extrusion behind the diffuser | TC, TB, TZ, TF | 12 – 400 W | Driver thicker than the profile; no ventilation assumed in the design |
| Retail & magnetic track | Track end-feed, ceiling void above the rail | Magnetic, Magnetic Smart (48 V) | 100 – 300 W | Volt drop along the track; mixing 48 V heads with a 24 V supply |
| Smart home & hotel | Ceiling void and wardrobe channels, controlled by app or wall panel | TG, Magnetic Smart, TZ | 60 – 400 W | Mesh pairing done before the gateway is on site; no fallback to wall switch |
Outdoor and semi-exposed installations need IP67 with full potting, not a rainproof cover. Rainproof housings rely on ventilation slots; in coastal and Gulf installations those slots carry salt mist straight onto the board.
Where these projects usually are
Most of our project volume sits in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Central Asia, where ambient temperature and grid stability drive the specification more than price does.
Middle East
Facade and landscape projects in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait. Full-load rating at 50 °C ambient is the first question asked, and the first thing we test.
Southeast Asia
Signage, retail and hospitality fit-outs in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia. Humidity and 220 V grids with wide sag make IP rating and input window critical.
Central Asia & CIS
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan projects with −20 °C winters and unstable supply. Cold-start behaviour and 110–265 V wide input matter more than the last 5% of efficiency.

Send the fixture schedule or the LED load per circuit. We map it to series, flag the ones that will not hold full load in your ambient, and quote EXW Zhongshan or FOB Shenzhen.
